A group of eleven political parties deregistered by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has endorsed the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Teslim Folarin.
The parties, under the aegis of Congress of Deregistered Political Parties, announced the adoption of the three-term Senator in a statement signed by representatives of all affected ‘parties’ on Friday.
“Sen Teslim Folarin is the man for Oyo State next level come May 29th 2023.
“The references sighted on February 25 shows that it is a materialistic and projection specimen of March 11th state constituency elections,” the statement read in part.
The group further noted that the 81.25 percent success rate of the APC at the Presidential and National Assembly elections in the state is a pointer of where the pendulum of leadership in the state will swing to.
“In view of this, all hands are on deck for all organizations to work for the success of Folarin of the APC,” the statement added.
