The aspiration of Engr. Seyi Makinde, a Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, gubernatorial hopeful in Oyo State received a major boost.
Yesterday at the Oyo North Senatorial district meeting held in Saki, in Oke Ogun area of the state, party leaders and members of the PDP adopted him as their governorship candidate for the 2019 election.

The motion was seconded by Engr. Sarafa Omirinde from Saki West local government and majority of the party members present at the meeting erupted in jubilation.
The meeting had in attendance 11 local government chairmen and representatives of the two local government executive council whose chairmen were absent.
Party leaders such as Chief Jacob Adetoro, Senator Hosea Agboola, Rt.
